Intensive Courses

There are lots of driving schools that offer intensive driving courses including Drive confident driving in Portsmouth and Dr1veschool in Leicester.

Intensive courses are very popular as they enable you to learn at a much quicker pace. However there are some drawbacks as some people find them too intense and find that there are not enough breaks.

Learning to drive with an intensive driving course is a great benefit to some people, but it is important that you do not overextend yourself or have unrealistic expectations. An intensive driving course of lessons is not a quick fix. It is still down to you to learn and master all the skills that you need to pass the driving test. The test is the same and is marked to the same standard whether you have taken a crash course or if you have just had normal one hour per week driving lessons.

In fact the advantage of paying for just one lesson per week is that if you don’t get on with your driving instructor it’s easy to change. With an intensive course you pay up front and are effectively locked in to that instructor.
